If your BP monitor shows readings with a decimal point (example: 18.0) this means that it is in kpa mode instead of mmHg mode. To change this, please follow the following steps depending on the model:

UAM-710:

  • Turn the BP monitor off (blank display).

  • Push the set button and keep it pushed for 5 seconds. Release the set button and the date (year) starts flashing.

  • Keep pushing the set button until 0.0 appears in the display.

  • Push the mem button 1 time until 0 appears in the display.

  • Push the set button, the display shows "done" and device turns off.

Readings are now displayed in mmHg mode again.

UAM-720B:

  • Turn the BP monitor off (blank display).

  • Simultaneously push the "M" (Memory) button and the "Start/Stop" for about 3 seconds.

  • Release both buttons. In the top right corner, kpa, kpa and mmHg or only mmHg is flashing.

  • Push the "M" button to select mmHg (only mmHg should be flashing).

  • Push Start/Stop button to save.

Readings are now displayed in mmHg mode again.

  • Push the memory button and keep it pushed until 0.0 appears on the display. Release the mem button
