Problem:

My blood pressure readings don't transfer to Apple Health.

Solution:

  • Data needs to be collected using Zewa's MyHealthConnected App. Download here: www.zewa.com/app
  • During the installation process, accept ALL connection requests to Apple Health.
  • Open the MyHealthConnected App and take a blood pressure reading on the blood pressure monitor. Once data is visible inside the MyHealthConnected app, it is also visible in Apple Health.

Problem (new in 2023):

Blood pressure readings are visible in the MyHealthConnected App, but not in Apple Health.

Solution:

This is a new known issue in 2023 and affects ALL Apps collecting blood pressure readings and sending it to Apple Health. This issue is caused within Apple Health and we are hoping that Apple fixes this issue soon. Follow these steps for a work around.

  • In Apple Health on the Summary screen, tap on "Edit" next to the Favorites header.
  • Tap on "All" to see all options.
  • Search for the "Heart" header and select "Blood Pressure".
  • Tap on "Done".
  • You will now see "Blood Pressure" listed under the Favorites tab, but it will show "No Data".
  • Tap on "No Data" and your blood pressure is now visible (select corresponding "time options" to display data).
