Problem:
The temperature taken with this infrared Thermometer is different than when taken with another thermometer.
Solution:
1) Switch thermometer to "human" mode and not "object" mode. Use the M button to change the measurement mode.
2) Make sure the thermometer is about 1/2 away from the forehead before taking a measurement.
3) Check page 5 of the instruction manual about temperature differences when taken on the forehead, ear or with a stick thermometer.
