If errors continue that are related to the software and not the connection between the BP monitor and BPM (errors listed above), completely remove BPM and re-install the software.
1) Under “Control Panel” go to “Add/Remove” programs. Remove BPM. Close all open windows.
2) Using Windows Explorer delete the following files:
Under “C:\Program Files” remove the “Zewa” folder.
Under “C:\Documents and Settings” select the folder that is listed for your computer settings, in our case it is called “Mycomputer”. Under “Mycomputer” is another folder called “Application Data”, in “Application Data” another one called “Zewa”, delete this folder "Zewa". Your path should look something like this:
C:\Documents and Settings\mycomputer\Application Data\Zewa
Go to: C:\Users\(Username)\AppData\Roaming and delete the Zewa folder (only perform this step if you have a database error, otherwise leave the database as it is.
Close the window.
3) Remove the Zewa registry Key (WARNING, be very careful removing this key)
Click on “Start” and select “Run”. Enter "regedit" and click on “OK” which will open a new window.
Click on the plus sign next to "hkey_local_machine", this will open a new list of registries.
Click on the plus sign next to "Software", this will open a new list of registries.
Scroll down, the last listing is “Zewa”. Click on it so that it is marked in blue. With the right mouse button open a windows menu and click delete to delete the Zewa registry. Make sure you only delete this Zewa folder and nothing else.
Close the window
4) We have now removed everything associated with the software. If you would like to confirm that everything has been removed properly, you can run a search for “BPM”, nothing should come up.
5) Reinstall the software.
Note 1: If you are using version 2 and above your data previously stored in BPM should still be available unless the database has been corrupted.
If you are not familiar with any of the above steps, please do not attempt to make any of these repairs yourself, contact a professional. Zewa is not responsible for any problems resulting from changes made to any other software.
